Why Sprouted Grains?
At Frankie’s we love the amazing benefits of sprouted grains, that’s why we add them to our delicious puffs! We wanted to create a snack that was both yummy and full of health benefits so we chose to use sprouted quinoa and sprouted brown rice.
A sprouted grain is more nutrient dense and it is much easier to digest than a non-sprouted one. Sprouting our grains mean taking time to nurture them during the germination process. This helps them break down the starches that sometimes lead to digestive issues. More specifically, sprouting our grains helps break down phytic acid which decreases the absorption vitamins & minerals. Sprouted grains have been proven to contain more vitamins, nutrients and are much more flavourful than regular grains. They're always the right choice when it comes to snacking!
